www.amateurorchestras.org.uk/. This is comprehensive list giving details of most amateur orchestras and bands in the UK.

www.boerger.org/c-m/. An email list providing a means for people across the world to discuss their passion for making music in a (primarily) volunteer concert/wind band. Plus www.boerger.org/c-m/commother.shtml, on which site is claimed the largest set of band links available on the web.

www.doncasterconcertband.org.uk.  Web site of the Doncaster Concert Band, with a good set of links to other UK and non-UK bands.

http://lrs.ed.uiuc.edu/students/heidel/Major_project.html. An American site maintained by an individual and devoted to resources for wind bands, with some bibliographical information and a few links.
