Sponsorship of the Band

What's in a sponsorship package for you?

By sponsoring the band, you will be helping to maintain an important music-making body in the City and County of Swansea. But beyond that, the advantages to you are that the band plays in a variety of locations throughout the Principality and can advertise your company. At the annual concert in the Taliesin Theatre, Swansea University, there is normally a full house (330 seats) and many people in the audience have important business connections.

A few further points you might like to bear in mind if you are thinking about sponsorship:

	The band is independent: it has no ties or allegiances to any local authority body.
	We pay a minimum of £1,000 per annum to rehearse - the local authority does not help us.
	We are currently spending over £600 a year on new music.
	We provide a true community band.
	Our members come from all over the City of Swansea and beyond (Neath, Llanelli and elsewhere)

Programme Sponsorship

The Band performs a small number of indoor concerts every year (there is normally one in March, and there is our Main Concert in November or December).

The cost of programme sponsorship is £50.

The package includes:

	Sponsor's logo or name inside the programme.
	Two complimentary tickets for the concert.

We can also provide an A4-sheet programme for our outdoor concerts, which can be sponsored for £30. This includes the sponsor's logo on the programme sheet. 150 sheets provided.

Concert Sponsorship

The cost of sponsoring a full concert is £350, whatever the venue.

The package includes:

	Sponsor's name and/or logo on the outside of the programme and on all promotional material
	Sponsor's advertising banner placed on the stage
	Sponsor's name advertised on the band Web site in the period leading up to the concert
	Six complimentary tickets for the concert plus Host for the evening.

Itemised Sponsorship

This can be a discretionary amount given by the sponsor towards a specific musical item for a concert.

This year (2008) we are trying to get the pieces of music in our annual concert in December (entitled 'Celebration') sponsored for £25 each. There are 15 pieces available for sponsorship. Full Band Sponsorship

The band is seeking a major sponsor, the cost of which would be around £400 per annum.

The package includes:

	Band members wearing the sponsor's logo on uniforms (badge provided by the sponsor)
	Sponsor's name and logo on all band advertising and promotional material, and letterheads
	Sponsor's name prominent on the band Web site for the year
	Sponsor's name on the front of all concert programmes
	Ten complimentary tickets for the Main Concert held in November or December.

Wills & Bequests

The band is keen for previous band members, or indeed anyone who has enjoyed its music over the years, to help with a small donation in memory of a loved one.
